Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts, starring Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, is set for its OTT release on July 1, 2025. Fans can buy or rent the film on popular digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, and Fandango Now. The purchase price is around $29.99, while renting it costs about $5 less, with a 48-hour viewing window after rental. This digital release follows the film’s theatrical debut on May 2, 2025.

The film revolves around a group of antiheroes including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). They find themselves trapped in a deadly plot orchestrated by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus). Forced to confront their troubled pasts, these disillusioned outcasts embark on a dangerous mission that tests their ability to work together and seek redemption.

Directed by Jake Schreier and produced by Kevin Feige, Thunderbolts is the final film of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase Five. The movie introduces new characters like Lewis Pullman’s The Sentry and features returning favorites such as Harrison Ford as Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross. The story is inspired by the Marvel Comics series about a team of villains masquerading as heroes, adding a darker and more complex layer to the MCU narrative.

In addition to the digital release, Thunderbolts will be available on Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD starting July 29, 2025. These physical editions will include special features such as deleted scenes, gag reels, director’s commentary, and behind-the-scenes footage—offering fans an in-depth look at the making of the film and its standout sequences.
