Sydney Sweeney, star of Euphoria and Anyone But You, has launched a limited-edition soap called “Bathwater Bliss” in collaboration with men’s personal care brand Dr. Squatch. This unconventional product contains droplets of Sweeney’s actual bathwater, collected during a special photoshoot for the brand. The soap is also made with exfoliating sand and pine bark extract, combining unique ingredients with a nod to Sweeney’s Pacific Northwest roots through its outdoorsy scent of pine, fir, and earthy moss.
The idea for Bathwater Bliss originated from persistent fan requests and internet jokes about wanting to purchase Sweeney’s bathwater. Rather than ignore the attention, Sweeney decided to lean into the absurdity, saying, “When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap”. She described the product as “weird in the best way,” emphasizing that it’s not only unforgettable but also meets the brand’s standards for quality and scent.
Only 5,000 bars of Bathwater Bliss will be produced, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item among fans and novelty seekers. The soap will officially launch on June 6, retailing for $8 per bar, and is expected to sell out quickly due to its limited availability and viral buzz. In the lead-up, Dr. Squatch is hosting a giveaway, where 100 winners will receive a free bar by engaging with the brand’s Instagram account.
Sweeney’s partnership with Dr. Squatch began last year with a viral advertisement featuring her in a bathtub, which fueled the ongoing fascination with her bathwater. With Bathwater Bliss, she aims to both amuse her audience and encourage a shift toward natural personal care products, turning internet obsession into a playful marketing moment.
