The 77th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, held on September 6–7, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, delivered a dazzling showcase of artistry and technical excellence in television. The night was dominated by three standout series: The Studio, The Penguin, and Severance, which racked up numerous wins across multiple disciplines.
The Studio emerged as the biggest victor of the evening, capturing a remarkable nine awards, including those for casting, contemporary costumes, and more, highlighted by Bryan Cranston’s win for Guest Actor in a Comedy and Julianne Nicholson’s Guest Actress in a Comedy award.
The Penguin, an HBO spin-off of The Batman, followed closely, taking home eight technical Emmys in categories such as prosthetic and non-prosthetic makeup, hairstyling, costumes, visual effects, and sound mixing, underscoring the meticulous work behind its gritty aesthetic.
