Shailesh Jejurikar, an Indian-origin executive with an illustrious career at Procter & Gamble (P&G), is poised to take over as the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer starting January 1, 2026. Born in Mumbai, Jejurikar began his journey with P&G in 1989 after completing his MBA from IIM Lucknow. Over more than three decades, he has held various leadership roles spanning multiple geographies and business functions. His experience encompasses brand management, business leadership, and global category development across markets including North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Currently serving as P&G’s Chief Operating Officer, Jejurikar manages a broad portfolio covering Enterprise Markets such as Latin America, India, Southeast Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, alongside overseeing critical company-wide functions like supply chain, sales, IT, and new business development.
Throughout his career, Jejurikar has demonstrated a strong ability to drive growth and transformation in diverse business sectors. Notably, from 2019 to 2021, he was CEO of P&G’s Fabric & Home Care division—the company’s largest business segment, which includes iconic brands like Tide, Ariel, Downy, and Febreze, representing about one-third of P&G’s total sales and earnings. Under his leadership, the division became a benchmark in innovation, supply chain integration, and brand building. His strategic approach connected focused business strategies with synchronized end-to-end supply chains to deliver consistent growth. He succeeds Jon Moeller, who will assume the role of Executive Chairman to guide the board and advise the CEO.
