A highlight of the celebrations was Dubai’s Burj Khalifa illuminating with images of PM Modi, symbolizing the global recognition of his leadership. The Prime Minister spent the day in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, where he inaugurated the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park, launched the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar health campaign, and transferred funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana to support women’s health and welfare.
The day witnessed a flood of international wishes, including messages from Russian President Vladimir Putin, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, former UK PM Rishi Sunak, and the Dalai Lama. President Droupadi Murmu praised Modi’s “unparalleled leadership,” while global leaders acknowledged his contribution to strengthening international partnerships. In his responses, Modi emphasized India’s commitment to peace, women’s health, and economic self-reliance, reiterating his appeal for citizens to support “Made in India” products.
Across India, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched a two-week-long ‘Sewa Pakhwada’, featuring blood donation drives, health camps, and welfare initiatives. Leaders like Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and UP CM Yogi Adityanath hailed Modi as a visionary guiding India toward development. Bollywood icons including Dharmendra, Shah Rukh Khan, and Akshay Kumar also extended their greetings, with Dharmendra calling him “one of India’s great sons.” Modi’s younger brother, Prahlad Modi, joined the celebrations by participating in fruit distribution for patients in Ahmedabad.
In his speeches, PM Modi underlined national security, women’s empowerment, and cultural pride, recalling Sardar Patel’s role in Hyderabad’s liberation and highlighting India’s firm stance against terrorism. He praised Operation Sindoor and reaffirmed that “New India fears no nuclear threats.” As India marked this milestone birthday of its leader, the blend of domestic welfare launches, global tributes, and cultural pride reflected both the personal and political significance of the occasion, underscoring Modi’s enduring influence at home and abroad.
