Aaron Phypers has filed for divorce from actress Denise Richards after six years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing was made in Los Angeles County Superior Court on July 7, 2025, with July 4 listed as the official date of separation. The split comes just months after Richards publicly discussed her OnlyFans presence and revealed that Phypers had helped her film content for the platform. The couple, who wed in September 2018, do not share children, though Phypers had begun the process of adopting Richards’ youngest daughter, Eloise.
In his divorce petition, Phypers is seeking spousal support and the division of their joint business, Smoke & Mirrors Entertainment, requesting a 50/50 split. He also asked the court to recognize certain personal belongings, such as his motorcycle, power tools, and sports car, as his separate property. According to the court documents, Phypers claims he has had no income over the past year after shutting down his wellness business, Quantum 360 Club, in 2024. Meanwhile, he alleges that Richards earns more than $250,000 per month, with substantial income from OnlyFans, television appearances, and brand endorsements.
The divorce filings have also revealed the couple’s lavish lifestyle, with monthly expenses reportedly totaling $105,000. This includes $20,000 on clothes, $18,000 on rent, $10,000 on groceries, $8,000 on utilities, $15,000 on dining out, and $15,000 on entertainment. The financial disclosures have drawn attention, particularly as Phypers claims he currently has no source of income while Richards’ OnlyFans and media ventures remain lucrative.
The timing of the divorce has sparked speculation, as it follows the recent premiere of the couple’s Bravo reality series, “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” which offered viewers a glimpse into their family life. The split also comes after public statements by Richards earlier this year, where she insisted the couple would never divorce, even if they “hate each other”.
